Artlangs Translation Service Agreement

Party A:

Party B: Hunan Artlangs Translation Service Co., Ltd.

Artlangs Human Translation: refers to the paid human translation (translation) service provided by Party B.
During the service period, Party A submits an entrusted translation request to Party B through Party B's website (www.artlangs.cn), and conducts relevant operations according to Party B's guidelines, and Party B provides Party A with professional translation results. In order to obtain Artlangs human translation service, the user (Party A) must agree to all the terms under this agreement. When Party A has paid the relevant translation fees in full according to the prompts on Party B's website, it is deemed that both parties have signed this translation service agreement, and both parties shall perform the following relevant agreements.
  
Party A has reached the following translation service (translation) agreement with Party B through the Internet:

1. Register and log in. Party A shall register and log in through the relevant pages of Party B's website to submit a request for entrusted translation service to Party B. Artlangs registration information includes but is not limited to the user's account name, avatar, password, and all information entered when registering or updating email addresses. When registering the Artlangs account, the user promises to abide by the seven bottom lines of laws and regulations, socialist system, national interests, legitimate rights and interests of citizens, public order, social morality and authenticity of information, and the user guarantees that he is using the account and submits a commissioned translation to Party B. When a service request is made, its behavior and request content shall not contain the following circumstances:
(1) Violating the provisions of the Constitution or laws and regulations;
(2) Endangering national security, divulging state secrets, subverting state power, and undermining national unity;
(3) Damage to national honor and interests, or damage to public interests;
(4) Inciting ethnic hatred, ethnic discrimination, or undermining ethnic unity;
(5) Undermining the state's religious policy and promoting cults and feudal superstitions;
(6) Spreading rumors, disrupting social order and undermining social stability;
(7) Spreading obscenity, pornography, gambling, violence, murder, terror or instigating crimes;
(8) Insulting or slandering others, infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of others;
(9) Contains other content prohibited by laws and administrative regulations;
When the above behavior occurs, Hunan Artlangs Translation Service Co., Ltd. has the right to cancel the account and report to the competent government department.
2. Party A submits a request for entrusted translation service to Party B through the relevant pages of Party B's website.
3. Party A submits translation manuscripts: Party A submits the manuscripts to be translated to Party B through the relevant pages of Party B's website.
4. Service fee:
a). Document translation service:
Party B shall charge according to the text length of the documents provided by Party A: 0.166 yuan per word for professional-level Chinese-English translation, and 0.186 yuan per word for professional-level English-Chinese translation.
b). Premium:
Party B shall charge corresponding premiums according to the difficulty level of the documents provided by Party A, which are 1.0 times, 1.3 times and 1.5 times respectively. The service fee is calculated by Party B through an algorithm and displayed on the relevant interface. The exact service fee is subject to Party B's statistics.
5. Payment method: Party A pays all translation fees at one time through the online payment method provided by Party B's website.
6. Statement of responsibility: Party B undertakes to complete the translation service of manuscripts in accordance with the relevant provisions of the National Standard GB/T 19363.1-2003 of the People's Republic of China. The translated content is provided by Party A, and Party B shall not assume any form of responsibility for the legality, authenticity and infringement of the translated content. The content of the documents that Party A entrusts Party B to translate shall not violate national laws and damage the legitimate rights and interests of third parties. In the event of such a situation, Party A shall bear all the responsibilities and shall be obliged to ensure that Party B will not suffer any loss, otherwise Party B shall have the right to terminate this contract, the translation fee charged will not be refunded, and shall have the right to require Party A to undertake the contract If the liquidated damages of 2% of the payment are not enough to compensate Party B's losses, Party B shall also compensate for all the losses caused thereby.
7. Delivery time:
a). The delivery time is calculated by Party B through an algorithm and displayed on the payment interface.
b). The page display time is the estimated delivery time. The actual delivery time will not exceed 2 times the estimated delivery time. If it exceeds, the user has the right to terminate the order.
8. Submission method: Party A will submit the manuscript through the email address filled in when the user registers or pays.
9. If Party B makes some minor revisions to the translated manuscript after submission:
a). Party A shall submit the submission within 7 days after the submission of the manuscript by Party B. If Party A does not raise any objection within 7 days after the submission of the manuscript, it shall be deemed that Party A is satisfied with the translated manuscript;
b). Party B will provide Party A with modification and related services free of charge for an unlimited number of times, until Party A believes that there is no problem with the translation or Party B believes that modification is no longer necessary.
10. If Party A proposes a new translation request after Party B submits the translation, Party A shall pay for the new part. If Party A modifies the original text of the translation task after the final translation is submitted by Party B and requires Party B to revise the translation accordingly, Party A shall provide Party B with the manuscript marked with the revised position, and shall pay Party B fees according to the amount of modification . The standard and method of payment shall be implemented in accordance with the terms of this service. If Party A fails to indicate the modification, the translation fee shall be calculated according to the new project.
11. Matters not agreed upon by the two parties shall be settled through negotiation in accordance with the principle of equality and friendship.
12. Party B shall take all necessary measures to protect Party A's documents from loss or leakage.
13. Translation Quality Agreement:
a.) Definition:

The translation provider is an economic entity or institution that can implement translation services and has certain qualifications.

b.) Quality Standards
In the reading-level translation service provided by Party B, the error rate should be lower than 15/1000 words
In the professional-level translation services provided by Party B, the error rate should be less than 10/1000 words
In the master translation service provided by Party B, the error rate should be less than 5/1000 words
When the error rate is lower than the standard, Party B is only obliged to revise. When the error rate is higher than the standard, the translation is of substandard quality. Party A's requirements should be supported.
c.) Delivery time and timeout standard
c1.) Delivery time: The estimated time displayed before payment is not the exact delivery time. The delivery time is affected by the translator's response delay or no one takes over, so the time displayed on the order when the translator takes over shall prevail.
c2.) In non-expedited cases:
It is normal to submit manuscripts in advance or within 6 hours beyond the time of submission. Retraction and refunds are not supported. If the timeout is 6 hours to 12 hours, the user has the right to withdraw the manuscript before the manuscript is sent, stop the manuscript, or receive a 3% refund after the manuscript is sent as compensation. Over 12 hours to 24 hours, the user has the right to withdraw the manuscript before the manuscript is sent, stop the manuscript, or get a 5% refund after the manuscript is sent as compensation. If the timeout exceeds 24 hours, the user has the right to withdraw the manuscript before the manuscript is sent, stop the manuscript, or receive an 8% refund as compensation after the manuscript is sent.
When the user chooses the expedited service and pays the expedited fee:
If the timeout is between 0 hours and 2 hours, the user has the right to withdraw the manuscript before the manuscript is sent, stop the manuscript, or get a 10% refund after the manuscript is sent as compensation. If the overtime is 2 hours to 6 hours, the user has the right to withdraw the manuscript before the manuscript is sent, stop the manuscript, or get a 15% refund after the manuscript is sent as compensation. If the timeout is more than 6 hours, the user has the right to withdraw the manuscript before the manuscript is sent, stop the manuscript, or receive a 20% refund as compensation after the manuscript is sent.
The above-mentioned time-out situation is limited to the translator's first submission, that is, the first draft, and the revised manuscript is not a time-out situation.
14. Confidentiality clause
a.) All paid manuscripts and corresponding translated documents (electronic documents) submitted by Party A on Party B’s website are information that Party B needs to keep confidential. Party B and its staff can only use this information during the translation process, and without the prior written consent of Party A, Party B shall not disclose it to a third party or use it for any purpose other than translation.
b.) Party B shall destroy all manuscripts and translated documents submitted by Party A on a regular basis after Party A sends a written notice.
c.) Party B shall strictly abide by the confidentiality provisions of the "Contract Law of the People's Republic of China" and other relevant laws and regulations. If this confidentiality agreement is violated, Party B shall be liable for damages to the limit of the total amount of translation fees charged.
